At 5-oceans we use industry leading design and construction techniques to bring you windsurf kit without equal. Our designer , Matthew Burridge, has been building and designing sails for 20 years alongside Sean Cox at sister company Demon Design Sails . There they were the first to introduce Technora laminates to windsurf sails way back in the early 90's, 20 years ahead of the competition. In 2010 he continues with his cutting edge work to bring you sails that are decades in front in terms of weight, strength and use. The experience we have gained allows us to build lighter, faster, tougher and better rigs. We don't and never have done turbo widgets and marketing led material choices- if its on our sails its there for a good structural or functional reason- if it isn't on our sails then it doesn't need to be there.
